Stitched on 32 ct. raw linen using red (DMC 815 / Anchor 44) and white floss (DMC blanc / Anchor 2).
The cross stitch pattern is from the book “Vintage cross stitch – Borders“

The scalloped hem is worked in buttonhole stitch (also known as blanket stitch) using a sewing thread of the same colour as the fabric:
